Customs offices are located in all ports and border crossings of a country, whether the merchandise is transported by air, sea or land.
They are strategically located at airports, seaports or land crossings.
Their main function is to assess, classify and control the entry and exit of goods.

Tariff Classification (HS Code)
The tariff classification codes were created with aim at simplifying trade and facilitating the import and export of goods.
This code allows to classify all types of merchandise into product groups according to your specifications.
Such number was created by the WTO (World Trade Organization).
Each country assigns the tariffs, documents and requirements necessary to carry out the import and export of said group of goods to each tariff code.
The tariff classification of goods to be transported internationally is the first step in customs clearance of cargo.

at origin (Origin Scan)
In order to streamline times efficiency and reduce costs in customs clearance processes, we offer an origin scan inspection service.
This service consists of our team conducting an inspection of the merchandise in the country of origin to determine the nature, net origin, state, quantity, value, tariff classification, taxes and international treatment that must be given when imported and exported.
By doing this inspection in the country of origin, we may to speed up the customs clearance process upon arrival in the destination country, since it will not be necessary to carry out the prior maneuver at the destination port or airport.
This helps us reduce expenses in maneuvers and possible delays and storage.
