We offer merchandise ground transportation services.

Such service is provided for all types of cargo (General Cargo, Dangerous merchandise, and Oversized Cargo), both in national and in international transit.

National or domestic transport, is when the freight is contracted to move cargo within the borders of the country.

Whereas international transport, freights merchandise from some point in national territory to abroad or vice versa and entails border crossing. (For example, from some point in the United States or Canada to some point in Mexico).

Inland freight many times is used as a complement to air, ocean or rail transport. We carry out collection at origin and/or delivery at destination of all types of cargo, including heavy and oversized cargo.

With SCL, you have certainty that your merchandise travels safely, and that the carriers we use to move your merchandise, have the pertinent permits. To enforce such guaranty, we carry out exhaustive audits and strict protocols to select our suppliers.

We ship merchandise from our specialty industries (Perishables, Automotive, Industrial, Construction, Energy and Retail).

When it comes to Perishables or hazardous materials, we monitor the cold chain and safety standards in strict compliance with current domestic and international permits and regulations.

Regarding machinery for industrial use, we additionally comply with regulations and permits for maneuvering heavy and oversized loads.

Our Services

Transshipment

Unloading and loading merchandise in port (sea or air) or warehouse, cargo insurance, documentation or corresponding import or export permit preparation, to present before customs agents and other official entities.

International freight

In terms of international inland freight, we offer direct services or with transshipment at the border, according to the needs of each shipment.

Full Truck Load (FTL)

Refers to the fact that the truck space can be occupied in its entirety by one company. It is recommended for merchandise that, due to its weight and volume, has the capacity to fill the box.

Less than Truck Load (LTL) from a pallet on

Also called consolidated cargo. When the freight of goods does not cover the fulfilling of the truck bed, usually one to six pallets. Several shipments from different companies are combined, sharing space and transport costs according to their merchandise.

We oversee that the space is shared in the most efficient way to give you the best logistics solution in terms of cost and benefit.

GPS tracking

The carriers in our network have a geolocation device installed in all their trucks. This way we can give you real-time status of your shipments in transit. If necessary, we can offer a geolocation service in through a mirror account.

Security Escort Service

In case of merchandise transportation that, due to its high value, requires to be escorted by a security person. We can provide this service in addition to the insurance policy that best suits the needs of your merchandise.

Hot Shots

Used for extremely urgent transport, usually utility vans. Within the group of selected suppliers, we have a hand-picked group, specialized in this type of land transport. It requires a particular sense of urgency that allows your merchandise to reach its destination as quickly as possible.

Lowboys

Also known as flatbed or low bed trailers. It’s one of the most common tools used to transport heavy and oversized objects with flexibility, because it doesn’t have a box with walls that enclose and limit the cargo space. Thanks to its low platform we can transport taller products, avoiding obstacles on the way.

Sea container hauling

When working with a sea container to export or import your merchandise, we can provide the service of transporting the sea container to or from the port. In case of export, we take care that the merchandise is loaded into the container directly from your plant. Later, we transport it to the seaport, from where it will set sail to its destination. When an import is taking place, once your shipment enters our country, we transport your cargo to any point within.
